ADALET ENCLOSURES NOW CENELEC CERTIFIED TO THE ATEX DIRECTIVE
Cleveland, OH - Adalet now offers the broadest line of CENELEC/ATEX certified enclosures for hazardous location.

The European Union's ATEX Directive 94/9/EC went into effect on a voluntary basis on March 1st 1996. The Directive becomes mandatory on July 1st 2003 and all products sold or placed into service in any EU Member State must be ATEX-certified at that time. All ATEX-certified flameproof products are currently designed to CENELEC EN50014 and EN50018 standards and require ATEX inspection to verify conformity. Inspection records must be maintained indefinitely.

Adalet's XCEX series enclosures, XIH/XDH instrument housings, XHPB pushbuttons, XHSS selector switches, and XJ series screw cover enclosures are used in the installation of electrical/electronic components for control, measurement or monitoring applications in hazardous environments. XCEX control enclosures can be modified for installation of a variety of explosionproof operator devices, viewing windows, and accessories, permitting the development of customized enclosure systems.
